We do the same but bought our last two sets of GC2 6 volt batteries from Samsclub. First set were Interstates, they were heavily used and abused for over 7 years and still had life in them. Traded them in on our current set 3 years ago when Samsclub had a great deal on some Duracells, they are giving us good service as well.
I don't fret the label or badging these warehouse stores have on their batteries since they are made by one of the leading manufacturers anyway, you can ruin a high $$ battery just as easy as a less costly version. Good maintenance and correctly charging then back to full offers a battery the best chance at having a long, serviceable life.
One our neighbors works at a major golf course nearby and mentioned he could get golf cart batteries at a decent cost but when I told him what it costs at Sams he said he would not be able to beat it by much, a few dollars each at best. I buy more fuel on a single RVing excursion in state than I do for a set of 6 volt GC2 batteries, I have money for high end batteries, just see no need to change what works very well for us.
