Needing an adapter so that I can town my Jeep behind my rig. I now have a 7-pin on the backside of the discovery. Why is this adapter so hard to find? Find a ton of the 7-pin to 4-flatI ordered a cable with te correct ends but will take just about a week to get to me. In a bind I can modify the jack/connector on the jeep side.Thanks for the help.

Have you considered changing the 6 pin round to a 4 blade flat. and using a 7 pin round to 4 blade flat adapter (very common to find)

I always find what I need at ETRAILER.com then I use the part number to order from AMAZON...Haven't looked for your particular need...Roy Ken

CW or other might be more convenient. Maybe not.
Seven to four and 6 to four adapters use to be stocked.

Have you considered also adding a 4-pin to the back of the Discovery? You can daisy-chain it off of the 7-pin. This way no adapters are needed and if the 4-wire cable gets damaged or stolen it is easy to replace it and be on your way.

That's the one I use.

Thats the one I have on order but shipping will belay it for "the big weekend" Looks like I'll be swapping out the 4 round on the Jeep.
