7 pin to 6 pin adapter ?

My truck camper 12 volt power plug is a standard 7 pin arrangement and works fine no issues. However my truck also has in the bed area a 6 pin plug I believe the previous owner ordered this or had it installed. Is there an adapter to go from 7 to 6 pins ? Anyone using one with success ? Any downsides ? The reason I want to do this is it will free up the 7 pin at the hitch for my boat trailer or car trailer.

    Where was I recently that had those....., I went to Big Lots, Staples, Kroger, Qh..Gilroy's Hardware.. That's it, Gilroy's DO IT, Hardware.

    In short, they make 'em, and even some hardware stores carry them. So your local RV dealer sure ought to have 'em.

    That is what I would do. I would change the truck plug to the standard 7 pin connector.

    or
    change the plug on your camper 7 to a 6
    it not that hard
    the cheapest would be change the camper plug

    Yes they do! Bought mine from a search on Google. Less than $50 and cable is 6' long. There was many to chose from. I believe I finally bought mine from Amazon.

    I will check local auto stores and trailer dealer. Looking on the net I don't find what I need. I need a patch cord/adapter that has 7 pin male to 6 pin female. Push comes to shove I'll just make one. I think the only thing I would lose is power for electric brakes which I don't need with a truck camper.

    check walmart or any trailer rental place. don't know what connection you will be losing however. any automotive place should also carry one.
