Century fuel products sells this unit converted to run propane. For a couple hundred you can by the kit and convert easy yourself.

I think most would agree it has already established an excellent reputation for value and reliability, not to mention the capability to power most, if not all, 13,500 & 15,000 BTU a/c units. Yup, some pick on it because it's not as quiet as the Hondas. But, in reality it is. The Champion 3100 competes spec for spec with the $2300 Honda 3000 watt "Handi". Output, weight, fuel consumption, look/style, and sound-level specs are nearly identical. You can buy THREE Champions for the price of one Honda Handi! I suppose you could fault Champion for competing with one of Honda's less popular inverter generators, but that's about it.And, for the record, I own two Honda EU2000i's.

Just picked it up from Overstock for 741.99 and 10% discount came to a total of 667.79 shipped to my front door! Thanks for all the reviews on this forum for this awesome little generator.

Has anyone used Dynamat for Hushmat inside the plastic covers to quite it down to the levels of Honda or Yamaha. I think I can make it even more quite.

It is possible that Amazon shows different prices based of different user types (Prime/non-prime) and geographies.
