Wow, this should be so easy. :( OK Honeywell said their CT53K was their only model for 12v. BUT apparently, these others will work sort of somehow maybe.
It seems a real CT53K costs three times what these others cost, so I am tempted to just get the digital one and try it out.
I am unclear on which voltages do what. Is the 750 only inside the thermostat and it opens or and closes the switch, while the 12v has nothing to do with anything except being the voltage on the line being switched? Or is the switch supposed to be a "12v switch" but is not in these digital ones? If so is that bad for the switch?
I gather 24v AC is for making a cleaner switch action but this switch will not have AC ( ?) so is that a problem?
