Unless the thermostat manufacturer specifically states the unit has a back lit screen, it won't. This Hunter Digital Thermostat I previously used didn't have a back lit screen and it was almost impossible to see the screen inside a darkened camper. :M The Honeywell RTH5100B solves that issue entirely. :B Your choice. ;)
