77 Road Ranger - How to drop the holding tank?

Ok I just dropped the holding tank out of my 77' Road Ranger. Where can I buy replacements?

Ok it's off! Anyone know where I can get a new one? I don't think I need such a large one either.

Well the brackets were easy but the two pipes coming into the tank from the floor of the trailer are glued in. I guess I'll just cut them off. Wish me luck!

Obviously, make sure it's empty before removing. :)

If possible, post some pictures of your Road Ranger. I like older RV's.

Toilet flange disconnected, vent pipe to tank disconnected, drain output pipe disconnected or cut. Remove fasteners on tank flange or supporting hardware. Tank should fall off.

For the new tank, they sell tank sealing "doughnuts" that compress around the various pipes and seal onto the tank. I relocated my toilet and vent pipe. I drilled new holes, inserted the "doughnuts" in the tank, lubricated the pipes and slid them back into the tank. The "doughnuts" were purchased from an online tank supplier and included the dimensions of the new holes for the size of the pipes being installed.
