I don't follow Tesla much but Musk seems to have one card in his hand that other EV makers don't, he builds and supplies Lithium batteries. My understanding is that once the Giga plant is on track in Nevada, he's building an even bigger one in Europe. Don't know if that is in partnership with Panasonic or not.
Now, if Mars turns out to be one giant block of Lithium, he'll be the richest man on that planet, lol.
I was reading that the Tesla is one of the most sought after cars in Norway. I believe the Norsk are leading the way in EV use.
