Bottom line is that there has been ZERO ‘empirical’ Science to suggest that EV’s are better for the environment than other propulsion means, whether gasoline or natural gas!!.... Gov’t mandates and grants ($$) are whats behind this scheme, which without the science is all it truly is.....

I have nothing against EV’s and bet they are a blast to drive, but reject the popularized ‘All Aboard the EV craze’ - as your next door neighbor helps pay for your higher virtue and personal indulgence...No doubt (thanks to cronyism) EV’s are here to stay, but Musk’s Tesla seems to be stumbling while simultaneously promising the moon....

With regards to a ‘purported cleaner environment’ BS, I’ll pass on the EV Kool-aid until the science (which is mearly assumed - nobody with vested interest seems interested in pursuing) is in..... Crickets from those who should be demanding these answers, without which is simply a juvenile endeavor - if not a cruel hoax...

What does this have to do with Automobile Dealers Association pressuring State lawmakers to ban selling a vehicle unless it goes through the dealer network?

Can you imagine if Apple was not allowed to sell direct in half the states? Such as only allowed to sell through the phone providers because that is what Samsung does??

As for subsidies they are for ALL AUTOMAKERS and they do expire. This is not blocking anyone from getting the same advantage. Level playing field. No favorites, no cronyism. If you disagree with the government subsidy available to ALL then it is your Congressman you should be directing your frustration not Tesla.
