That mount doesn't swivel, just moves up or down. But you can release the suction cup mount and aim the camera in any direction.
I did buy one that had a swiveling ball mount. The problem with that kind of mount is bumps in the road cause the swivel ball to let the camera sag, and invariably, instead of recording the road ahead, you are recording your dash or front bumper.
