I bought three different dashcams, including the one with the built-in GPS. As the Amazon reviews suggest, the GPS software is buggy and like many other owners, I couldn't get it to work. The seller provided a software update, but it didn't work either.
The camera is over $100 with the GPS, just $34 without GPS.
Since the GPS firmware and the GPS video playback software is buggy, it doesn't seem to be worth it to pay an extra $80 for the GPS feature.
