Aaaa....how to get cover off of fridge element

I don't know if this link will work. Needs an address to add a photo. Using public post on my FB page. Trying to open the metal casing around the fridge (Dometic DM2652) element https://www.facebo...

Yours is a lap lock joint, to open press the right side of the raised vertical line, in and slightly in. While doing that holding the left side still.
