I don't run any gas through it that doesn't have stabil (or sea foam...but usually i go with stabil) through the honda.
At storage time I just drain the carb and don't worry about draining the (treated) fuel from the main tank. Not a single problem in 5 years. and in that time there have been a couple of occasions where I needed to fire that thing up and having fuel already in it was helpful.
