All my small engines from ATVs down to weed trimmers get stabil in every tank. They have all performed perfectly for years. I retired my 20 year old lawnmower this year, but it still runs and starts just fine. My 8 year old ATVs start easily and run fine after a long dormant winter. My generator goes unused for many months at a time and has always started and run well after 10 years. I forgot that I even owned a chainsaw and after discovering it on a shelf under heavy dust, it started right up and runs great too. Zero effort except for stabil in the fuel. Actually I think the 2 stroke fuel has a stabilizer added to it with the oil. The one thing I have learned is really important is shutting off the fuel petcock if one is present. Of course that won't matter if you run it dry. OK, done rambling. :)
