The OP autoformer will always boost by 7V which means that if the CG voltage is high say at 3 AM then you could experience excessive high voltage for your rig.
A much better and more expensive unit IMHO only boosts when needed and may shut down for excessively low CG power.
tuna, A brief check showed 50A non split phase units but perhaps I missed one that can be used for a RV - namely a 120/240V 50A split phase unit?
