CA Traveler read the specs! This is just a transformer that can be hard wired for a 7 Volt boost or buck. It does not change the output voltage as the input voltage changes. It is wired as an autotranformer. Most of you are thinking of a so-called autoformer that automatically changes output voltage as the input voltage changes. An autotransformer and an autoformer are not the same thing.
