I have not researched the site. I agree an autoformer such as the Sola Basic is a better solution. But they are not sold in USA or Canada. The Hughes is a LOT of dollars.
I always monitor my voltage under load before I plug in. If it were low, then a boost transformer of 7 volts may be quite useful. I do not routinely plug in the sola basic.
