I suspect the issue is the long run. 225ft is a LONG run, and normally would require increasing wire size at least by at least one, if not two.
IMHO for that long a run and a 30A breaker to run 2 AC units, you should have at least 8ga more likely 6ga wire, not the likely 10ga that might be there.
also resistance of copper goes up as temperature increases. That doesn't help either in this case.
I only have the rooftop unit on RV power. The portable is on a different branch with full power.
