check out a meter like this one. You can leave it plugged in to your receptacle in the kitchen, or someplace visible, and check it when you are running the A/C. If it goes below 112 volts, check it often, and shut off the A/C when below 105 volts if you do not want to damage the compressor.
Kill-A-Watt Only about $20.
On a hot day, with only 105 volts, the compressor will be drawing a lot of amperage, and can overheat. .
If you frequent RV parks with 50 amp services, you might never see voltage below about 110 volts, and if visiting 30 amp only parks, they are frequently below 105 volts due to the long distance that many run #10 wire!
I lived in my 30 amp RV about 300' from the electric meter on a ranch. I was close to the well pump, and it was wired with #8 wire to it, but still due to teh distance, I would only have 105 volts when under a 15 amp load (the A/C running), so I used my 12 volt booster. It will make it 132 volts while the A/C was not running, but would settle to around 116 volts while running.. .
Hughes Autoformer is a popular option for this.
