If all he did was the Temp differential----THAT IS NOT AN ACCEPTABLE WAY TO CHECK AN AC UNIT. You MUST do an amperage test of the compressor. IF they have a stack of AC units(Bad), I will bet they are replacing units that do not need replacing. Which is strange as both RVP and Dometic have stringent guidelines on AC replacement. Other than warranty repairs, I would NOT use that RV dealer for anything else. They do not have correctly trained part replacers(I would not call them Technicians). The fastest and BEST way to diag a Compressor or leaker is the amp draw. Run the unit 15 minutes and clamp on the amp meter. THAT will tell you volumes. Doug
