Running AC's on batteries is best done with a 48V DC system where the amp draw will be 1/4 of a 12V system IMHO. Of course this means 48V inverter, 48V charger and a 48V to 12V converter for the house. But your batteries aren't designed for serial connection.
Maybe he wants a short cool down he didn't say if he has solar to assist?
I'm running my 15k air conditioner right now off the batteries/ solar drawing 75a from the batteries to cool the inside down a little. Started it at 15:30 77f inside, just turned off 72f inside after 40 minutes. Nice not having to drag a generator out.
