Exactly twice my a/c has frozen up.Once last year and just this weekend. Both times it was very hot and humid and the unit ran all day trying to keep up and at some point the fan speed was set to low...

There is a "freeze kit" that RVP will supply(sell), but is NOT part of the standard roof mount control Kit, unless the roof mount kit is just mechanical knob. These units had mechanical controls in the roof? Doug
