A/C Leak ?

During our last trip out we ran the a/c to get the humidity out of camper. During the night we had a small(very small) puddle under a/c unit.Talking to my neighbor he said that the tray up top must have debris in it.Causing the water to drip into camper rather than off of the roof.Does this make sense? If so how do I clean it? Thanks

  • What he said is true, but this rarely happens. The most common cause of your type problem is the AC roof gasket has been over compressed and has block off the 2 drain hole at the drain pan. You have 2 drain holes. One on each side of the front area evap pan. Rare to have BOTH clogged up with debris at the same time. The 2nd cause is your AC froze up and when it thawed, the melting ice dripped inside and caused your puddle. Doug
