Do you have 2 AC units or one? Is the 4 button operating correctly? They are no longer made and you cannot replace it. You would have to go with either a 5 button or 12 button system. FYI, the 12 button system is a programmable tstat. Doug

Chris, I have found that the call takers at Dometic usually have NO CLUE as to what new products can be used/retrofitted. Until you showed that pic and I understood the problem, I had no clue as to the discharge change. The OP needs to make sure the call taker at Dometic fully understands the problem between the old Brisk Air 1 and the new Brisk Air 2. I have changed HUNDREDS of Newmar AC units both Penguin and Brisk Air and luckily I have not done an old style Brisk Air like the problem here. Now, That I know, I will be ready for the next one. It is also critical to know if the OP has a Heat Pump Brisk Air. IF so, He has NO freeze sensor if he still has the 4 button wall CCC. Doug

The unit really needs to come from Dometic- they will know what will be a replacement if they are made aware of the situation.

Thanks everyone. Will know better what direction to take after making some phone calls in the morning. It seems as though none of these projects can go smoothly.

IF the install plate on that website is correct, the discharge is in the center and as Chris stated, the OLD Brisk Air the discharge is to one side. So, this model will not work. BUT, If I could not find a older style Brisk Air 1 and had to use the Brisk Air 2, I would double gasket the Brisk Air 2 and use rubber gasket shims to funnel the air to the side discharge and cut out the hole in the roof for the discharge closer to the center right next to the wall of the ceiling duct. Not the best solution, but will work if you cannot find the Brisk Air 1. Doug

I bought a spare old style DuoTherm Heat pump since I have three and the newer ones require special control boards and sometimes new Tstats. This Ebay seller makes a distinction between Brisk Air and Brisk Air II. Maybe this is the one you need.

Thanks for the replies. Chris, You nailed it. that is exactly what mine looks like. Hopefully tomorrow we will find someone that knows what you are talking about. I never ceases to amaze me how many service "professionals" have so little clue as to what is going on.
