Now have my latest toy, a modified PowerMax PM3-55 for the 5er. I have it wired to the inverter next to it in the front cargo bay all near the batteries. It does not do the usual "stages"...

Sorta like two 42-amp power supplies connected in tandem with .01 volt resolution from 10.5 to 15.8 vdc with adjustable stepped voltages with a timer to 6-hours for absorbsion. Unless a 3rd unit is added to male it 126-amps then oh yeah I forgot to mention the independent float charger.
Sure has my 500-amp 12 cell charger beat. Not kidding the transformer alone weighs 147 lbs if memory serves.
