The table in the owner's manual lists an amperage output of 8 amps. If that is all you can push to a discharged battery, it will be a long time to fully charge a battery. For float charging or maintaining, it may work well.
I've never had one of these in hand but I'd assume the voltage is not user adjustable. If you're an electronic tinkerer, you could probably make it work better for your needs. That might take a transformer implant and a new power supply board. When you start adding it up, just buying an available power supply is less.
