Solar really needs to be 12v or 24v.
What is this 24v motor? Can you do something else?
This seems like a real stumbling block to designing a good system.
Why is it a stumbling block? I can just run a pigtail off each battery, and plug 12v into one at a time -- or get a second house battery and 24v panel. Right? Am I missing something?

Hi,
A rough guess is that solar harvest will be about 5 hours at the full capacity of the panels. I.E. a 100 watt panel will return about 500 watts on a perfect solar day.
The battery bank is small. Calculate wattage based on total use per day and divided by 5 and then add at least 60 watts per 100 amp-hours of storage. That works out near to 500 watts from what I can glean from what has been said in the thread.
Thank you. My van roof is the size that it is. No AC or anything up there, but not big! Can I fit 500 watts? There is space in front of the roof rack, but then I have to figure out how to fasten...
I am so grateful to have you guys' help, everyone in this thread. I know you know your stuff.
