Solar likes to stay connected. Some controllers can even burn out if you disconnect or reconnect in the wrong order or polarity. You are probably better with a 12v solar system full time on your 12v house battery.
Then you need to set up a good way to switch the configuration of the 24v to be mostly in parallel (12v) with the house and switchable to 24v to power the motor.
Could get a 12/24 converter but depending on use you could overly discharge the 12v battery or undercharge the 24v battery. If the 24v motor is small you may switch all batteries to 12v and power the motor direct through the 12/24 converter.
A 4PDT switch could configure the batteries between parallel and series with the flip of a switch. Toggle switches are about 20 amps max rating or a knife switch may go to 60 amps.
