Most module frames have attachment through holes in the frame.
My van is about 55" wide at the top, so I cannot put two 40" panels side by side. I can fit three 52x26 ones, though (see links in a post on page 6).
Are unistrut bars useful only if panels are side by side? Or are they needed anyway to add stiffness? I should check out the stiffness of my roof rack, I think. It has crossbars that can be moved and tightened down.
