Buy a tiny generator and a hybrid inverter.
Solar that is autonomous is possible, but not cheap. For me, I would want:
3 to 5 days of back up storage
a 3000 watt hybrid inverter
1320 watts of solar
I'll be back to having 2 of the three by the end of summer, but the solar is on the back burner, yet again. I really wish I had taken the bull by the horns and not purchased the Yamaha Generator--but that is the way the cookie crumbed.
