i say get both IF you can..but if $$ are tight, buy the genny first and solar later

Yes, the weight and roof size are pretty limiting in my small rig.
You are right that I will likely eventually get both if I keep camping. I have some health issues, so I never know how long I can keep camping. So I invest a bit each year. So far, so good!
