This is on a '97 Blazer with the 4.3 v6 engine, same engine as your Safari.
BUt 130 does not equal 144MM.
They make no mention of an alternator bracket change requirement on that specific vehicle but mention bending the thin, or removing the thicker rear bracket.

This just back via email from the company/folks who posted that article:
"I actually recommend swapping the CS130D out for an AD244. It's like the CS144, but it uses a regulator that's compatible with the CS130D plug. If you use a CS144, you need an adapter plug. Either alt will work without a bracket."
Any thoughts (Mex or anyone else)?
