Interpreting Mex can be challenging, and it would be a bad idea following some advice when you are not sure you understand it.
Here is how I see it: when moving the battery to some remote charger away from permanently installed monitor in the van, you will not know how much charge you put into battery. As a result, you will miss 90% point of charging.
Don't know if this was what Mex meant, but this is what will happen. AC charger that you referred to, has fixed Lithium profile, can't be adjusted, bulk 14.2 and unclear what happens at the end-stage. It also has lower current than I would want for 100AH Li.
Permanent monitor would still let you watch the discharging, but you will have to reset it to 100% every time you bring battery from remote charger.
With monitoring like in LifeBlue you can watch both charging and discharging... if it works. I can't find any reviews of this system, only reports from people that bought and installed it, without any details.
