True, to a degree, but read my previous link. My trailer: Cavity was filled with grease. Grease at the back of the cavity, behind the inner bearing blew out the seal. Basically the pressure of the grease caused the grease to take the path of least resistance to relieve the pressure, blowing out the inner seal.
End of story.
Not all grease will come out through the outer bearing like your theory states.
No one is providing mis-information nor pulling phantom straws (whatever the heck those are)
