Had AFCI s installed on bedroom circuits in our new home when it was built in 2009 to comply with Electrical code. Had to replace twice, fortunately under warranty as they are very expensive ($50.00 a pop here) compared to standard breakers. When electrician was replacing the second time he noted that electrical inspection had been done and just replaced with standard breakers. Said that they are a PITA and are constantly requiring replacement, particularly in winter when air is dry and static is high. I googled and was not able to find any instances of fires in bedroom or elsewhere as a result of ARC Faults.. NOT the same as GROUND Faults. They could be a real PITA in a MH and just one more expensive thing to go wrong with no real benefit. JMHO
