When well depleted, 65 of the 90AH, My NS accepts 40 amps for a good 30 minutes before reaching 14.7.
How long it accepts 40 amps from 65AH from full is dependent on when it received its last high amp recharge. If it has been too long, it rises to 14.7 much faster, and then takes much longer to taper to 0.4a.
I've seen the taper to 0.4 take 10 hours after many cycles without the higher amp recharge with some incomplete recharges thrown in too.
When it it recently high amp recharged, it Usually it takes about 3.5 hours to taper to 0.4 amps after it first reaches 14.4 to 14.7v, at a 45% initial charge rate.
It is easy to notice when one has an Ammeter and decides to hold a chosen voltage until that ammeter shows a target number.
Much easier than busting out the hydrometer.
