That sounds normal for the time in bulk. You get to Vabs sooner at a lower SOC when you use a higher charging rate. (initial charging amps/battery AH )
The battery being at less capacity from "progressive capacity loss" due to incomplete recharging cycles, or any other reason, increases the charging rate for the same amps and Vabs.
So you get to Vabs sooner at a lower SOC. If you do a series of 50-90s you can observe this by the shorter and shorter time each recharge takes to reach Vabs.
Naturally, if the bulk stage is shorter to a lower SOC, the time in absorption to full will be longer in proportion, but full is also less in AH than it used to be.
