If your OEM battery placement is like mine, lead acid fumes wouldn't destroy anything. I bought my coach used last year, and there was no damage whatsoever. My present batteries are inside a vented compartment, no damage in there either. And I have ZERO corrosion on the terminals.

How about we use the approach that you play the role of someone making plans for replacing batteries and you intend to use the same camping style?
No idea where you get 10 cents from. LOL! And, yes, this will be our camping style for the foreseeable future.
