A vote on the plus side for AGMs. On my rig, the only location available for house batteries is under the front hood. My second AGM is right in front of the air intake & the aluminum transmission & engine radiator. Peace of mind not having acid fumes destroying them.

I have been thinking about the comments from our friend Mexicowanderer.
How about we use the approach that you play the role of someone making plans for replacing batteries and you intend to use the same camping style?
