One of the major benefits of AGM, and other sealed, batteries is that they can be used safely without venting. There is a difference between possible and probable.
The big difference is that wets produce H gas and acid mist in normal use where venting is needed.
In practice, I see no need to provide venting for AGM. Hospital medical devices use them. I have two APC UPSs right at my feet as I type this at home. I have an AGM under my bed at night in the TT.
As it relates to the OP, I don't see a safety negative with unvented AGMs. So yes-go.
