I think I am going to wait a couple more weeks for warmer weather. Then I will cover the solar panels and run my compressor refrigerator with the door open. I believe it pulls about 3.0-3.5 amps. So it should take roughly 2 full days to drop my battery voltage to about 12.0-12.2. There is no way I can judge if the batteries retain 80 percent of the initial capacity but at least I can verify that they are not under 50 percent of capacity.
I use GC batteries in my MH and I use a lot of power. However if I was you I would put a more realistic load on you batteries for a load test.
