I can't figure out where you are having a problem with temp comp. I had that pdf emailed to me from Deka just last week. That is how you get mfgrs info! I have an 8a24m.
I would ignore whatever it is you are quoting from if you don't know where it came from.
Page 5 clearly states the exact charging volts to be used at each temperature. E.g., for 34C it says float is 13.34 and charge is between 13.64 and 14.42. I don't understand how that can be worse than anything else if it is the mfgrs spec. If the range is wider than another mfgr, it works in your favor, so it is a feature, not a fault.
That is the type of info you need.
