Jim, it must have been be one particularly stupid customer service rep in your case. Some of them are, you know.
When I emailed to their contact at Sales, they responded with a sheet (like the one in your link) with one 77F setpoint that I already had :)... Note that I told them that the value for 77F I already had, and asked about "table of setpoints for different temps", but they didn't think when responding (same as in your case). Luckily, the clerk also provided the emails of their 2 tech guys, and from those I received the manual.
Zillion of outsourced know-nothing phone reps is the evil, yes.
If manual says 30A max, then it must be true. Don't remember if my converter is 45A or 55A, but I have 3 batteries in parallel, so they won't get more current than needed.
