No, I don't see any changes in the sheet that sales rep send me, compared to the sheet in your link. Charging current 30A or smaller, yes. Had a knee-jerk reaction when read it the first time, but then realized that I wouldn't get more than 18A per battery from converter, not to mention solar charger with 30A limit.
PS: oddly, the individual specs for my UPG/Panasonic (the last model in Individual Specs sheets in that long manual) have no "initial current", while other Panny models have. But it is there in above mentioned UPG proprietary sheet for this model - current 30A.
It's good that the subject came up.. Some of us run 1 or 2 batteries.
I find it rather strange that UPG AGM's have this restriction while none of the others, lifeline etc do not... Lifeline allows up to 500amps initial on the most of it's group batteries.
I currently have a friend that has 1 UPG running on Solar and a 55amp Iota. I forewarned him about this issue.
