, we were running both at the same time, just seemed like the rear wasn't as cool.
On Newmar products, the Rear bedroom Zone 2 WILL get colder as it turns over a smaller volume of air even tho they have a common intake and exhaust ductwork. So, you need the rear AC checked out. You HAVE checked and cleaned the AC filters? Do you have the 4 button or 5 button Zone control? The 5 button has a separate ZONE button to change zones. 2001 was the year they went from 4 to 5 button. Also, you should have 18 total round ducts. 9 intake and 9 exhaust. Newmar failed to install enough round ducts your year model(2000/01/02) and that caused inadequate cooling(prone to freeze ups). Newmar had Service centers add extra ducts to get to the 18 total.
