Air Conditioner does not cool

Hi all,
I have two AC's on my 2005 Holiday Rambler and the rear one does not cool. I noticed earlier in the year that the heat pump stopped working as well. I believe I tried to run the heat pump in temps that were too low and may have ruined something. Any help or suggestions on what I can check will be appreciated.

You cannot ruin anything by what you think you did. 12 years old. Odds are the unit is out of Freon or the compressor is bad. The ONLY think that can be done now, is to verify the compressor does come on and do an AMP check of the compressor. That will tell you what needs to be done. IF you have the Intellitec EMS system on your RV. Turn the Genset ON. Let genset run for 30 minutes. Turn OFF all 120 appliances. Then turn on the Rear AC to HI COOL. Watch the AMP draw meter on the Intellitec remote display. IF the amp draw is NOT over 10 amps but close to 5 to 7 amps, your unit is out of Freon. If the display shows 1 to 4 amps, the compressor has not started or running. Doug
  • Thermostat is Duo Therm comfort control 5 button and I have tried the reset procedure . AC is Duo Therm 630515.321 heat pump/ AC.
  • I'll do the preliminary dirty work for others here...

Make model serial number on unit. Type of thermostat... vital info...
