Today I finally got around to installing a new hard start kit. There was an existing one but I think it may have been bad. It does start easier and for that I'm pretty happy. However, the temp today is 91 and the unit runs about a minute and half then stays off only about 20 to 30 seconds. I think that is too hard on the whole package to be able to do it's job. Not on long enough to keep humidity down and not off long enough to have an easier start. I seriously considering a remote thermostat project with a minimum off period timer of about 5 minutes.
