Because people like that feel the need to jump in and post something regardless of their lack of knowledge on the topic.
A 15KBTU AC draws slightly more current(less than 15A) than the 13.5KBTU and will run fine off of a 20A breaker. As far as lack of trailers with 30A service having 15KBTU units, that guy needs to look around. Every manufacturer offers an A/C upgrade for around $150 regardless of the capacity of service installed.
Any information on an Internet forum needs to be carefully scrutinized. The shore power threads really get scary.
