Is the compressor cycling on/off like it normally does? If not, you may have an electrical contactor that is sticking; this in turn would not allow the compressor to kick off. I wish I could tell you where the contactor is located, but I am not sure. My guess is that it is near the compressor. Be safe, turn the power off to the compressor before pocking around on the electricals. I highly recommended that you test the circuit first with a multi-tester first!
