Airxcel thermostat stuck on centigrade

I bumped something and changed display from farenheit to Celsius readout. It's some combo of buttons as it happened before but I can't remember how I got it back to farenheit. Of course nothing in owners manual.
  • Ok after 45 minutes of Internet surfing I found my manual. Wow it has a page 2! Dealer only gave me page 1. And it says to push the mode button for 5 seconds. No wonder I changed it inadvertently. You'd think it would be a combo...

    THANKS TO ALL
  • What happens when you press the Mode button?

    Is there a remote control?
  • Darn that did not work. Maybe it's broke cause I've tried every combo of the 3 buttons on it. Perhaps more info...

Thermostat is a 9430 series Airxcel by Rv products. It has 3 buttons, an up and down triangle to plus or minus the temp setting then a button beneath those to set the mode. None of the buttons are labeled but the owners manual refers to it by shape and calls it a mode button.

Press both SYSTEM and MODE buttons in for 5 seconds.
Temperature changes from °F to °C or °C to °F

I'll sure try that. Maybe I didn't hold for 5 second's when last I tried.

Gee that would not be a problem for me :)

By the way did you know your BODY is Metric? Yup 98.6F = 37C as I recall.

(I do the conversions mentally but I normally use a cheat (C to F, Double and subtract 10% then add 32) not as accurate as C+9/5+32 but close enough for most things).
