Stock GM 145 amp alternator... 10 lbs maybe. Where is the cooling fan?

LEECE NEVILLE 220 amp alternator... closer to 30 lbs.

Even with #2/0 wires, a 200 amp solenoid, and 30 lbs of alternator I do not use this system to charge my house batteries for much more than an hour. I limit this time by charging my house batteries using the generator and two 100 amp charges in parallel before traveling... I have AGM batteries so they can take this high a charge amps.
I doubt the GM alternator above at high amps for more than an hour will last very long.
